St. Maria Goretti shall take all reasonable and appropriate measures, implement policies and procedures, and periodically review such policies and procedures ensuring that all ministries and facilities are safe environments for persons of all ages and that those children and young people; in particular, are not placed at risk, specifically with regard to physical or sexual abuse.
 
All St. Maria Goretti Personnel follow the Sacramento Diocese Safe Environment requirements prior to engaging in their ministry or volunteer work - which includes background check, fingerprinting and Safe Haven training.
 
In addition, ALL Volunteers at St. Maria Goretti working in a ministry with minors must complete the Safe Haven training here.
