The mission of the Readers of the Word Ministry is to proclaim the scriptures in such a way that the power inherent in God's Word is revealed to those who hear. In proclaiming the Word of God, the Readers of the Word announces Christ’s message of God’s love, so as to enable those attending Mass to not only understand the Word, but to also want to live it and share it with others. As Readers of the Word, we seek to ever deepen our understanding and devotion to scripture, both in our personal lives and in the ongoing life of the parish community.
