Mission Statement
“To bring the good news of God's Kingdom to everyone, through a renewed commitment to the churches great commission."
The Church has a mission given to it by its founder, Jesus Christ. That mission is to “Go Make Disciples “, of all nations. Evangelization is a basic part of that mission. The United States Catholic Bishops teach us in their document “Go and Make Disciples”:
“Evangelization then has both an inward and outward direction. Inwardly, it calls for our continued receiving of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our ongoing conversion both individually and as Church. It nurtures us, makes us grow, and renews us in holiness as God’s people. Outwardly, evangelization addresses those who have not heard the Gospel or, having heard it, have stopped practicing their faith, and those who seek the fullness of faith.”

Prayer for the New Evangelization
Lord Jesus Christ, you have given your Church the mission to proclaim the Gospel to all the nations.
May our efforts to fulfill this mission be guided by the Holy Spirit so that might be a leaven of new life, salt of the earth and a light to the world - worthy missionaries and faithful to you.
Make us valiant witnesses to the Faith of the Church, and inspire us to speak the truth with love. Help us to communicate to others the joy that we have received.
Permit us to be united, but not closed; humble, but no fearful; simple, but not naïve; thoughtful, but not overbearing; contemporary, but not superficial; respectful of others, but boldly your disciples.
May we bear into the world the hope of God, which is Christ the Lord, who rose from the dead and lives and reigns with Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
